Cannabidiol (CBD) is gaining momentum on the autism front due to its ability to alleviate the symptoms of autism. However, there are two huge roadblocks for the growing population of parents who are interesting in obtaining CBD for their autistic children. First, CBD can only be used in states which allow the use of it for certain medical treatments. Second, autism is not listed as one of the medical conditions necessitating the use of CBD. This is a huge problem as may children could greatly benefit from the use of CBD, especially those children who have been prescribed pharmaceuticals and have experienced negative side effects from them.
