A Mango a Day

I lived over 20 years without ever trying a mango. In my college years I worked as a nanny to help pay for school and had the experience of working with an Indian family. This family made the most amazing and healthy meals. I took notice and helped them prep for dinner each night and incorporated what I learned into my own cooking. One day the mother came home with a huge container of mangoes. She offered me one and when I told her I had never had one before she looked completely bewildered. She immediately cut the mango up into cubes and put them into a bowl and made me sit down and eat them. At first I didn’t know if I really liked them because they were very sweet but they have definitely grown on me throughout the years. If you are a mango fan I am about to make your day.
